We believe that education and learning is the cornerstone of what it means to improve your life and the lives of those around you.
Park Rynie Technical College was established in October 2012 as a private provider of education and training. Our recognized credentials are aimed at enhancing individual productivity, marketability and value. As a private institution, we have focussed on skills required to ensure employability. With the success of our students, we had applied and received accreditation from QCTO (Quality Council for Trade and Occupations) as well as the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) offering courses in Business and Engineering N4- N6.
Since 2018, we have been running the Chemical Operations learnership programmes which are funded by CHIETA. To further our fields of study, we have been accredited by CHIETA for Chemical Operations as well as W&R Seta and Transport SETA.
To date, we have successfully trained 120 local unemployed youth on this learnership, with a number of them securing full-time jobs at their host companies. PRTC also acts as the Skills Development Facilitator for various SETA levy-paying companies.
